Title: Outcome Evaluation of Introduction of
High Value Medicinal Plants and tree Species in Agroforestry System
Abstract: Cultivation and Marketing of Medicinal Plants in particular
could be a viable option of providing income to rural farmers in Nepal.
Dabar/Nepal implemented a program in four hill districts of Nepal under
financial support from HARP. New ERA was given responsibility to conduct
outcome evaluation of this project. Main objective of this study was to
assess the lessons learned from HARP supported research-based projects and
to make useful recommendations for further improvement of HARP projects in
the future. The study assesses the implementation performance, output
delivery and transparency of the project.
