Title: Pilot Phase of Community School Survey
Abstract:
The Government of Nepal has implemented a new policy to devolve the
management of schools to local communities. So far 2000 schools have completed
the process. This survey was to evaluate the impact of the initiative on school
management, teaching quality and on educational outcomes in relation to
community managed schools. Forty community managed schools in different areas
were randomly chosen to be surveyed for the evaluation.
