Title: Improving Livelihoods and Equity in Community Forestry in Nepal: the Role of Adaptive Collaborative Management

 

Abstract: From 2000 to 2002, CIFOR and its partners (New ERA, Forest Action and NORMS) facilitated an Adaptive Collaborative Management (ACM) approach to community forestry in two CFUG sites in Kaski and two in Sankhuwasabha Districts. This study assesses the impact of the ACM project using process evaluation and by evaluating the impact of the ACM approach on the livelihood of local people and on strengthening governance.
