Title: Participatory Evaluation of FP + Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health Program of Kavre District

Abstract: Adolescent Sexual and Reproductive Health (ASRH) Program was implemented in three municipalities (Banepa, Dhulikhel and Panauti) of Kavre District, since August 2001, jointly by Adventist Development Relief Agency (ADRA), District Health Office (DHO) and Junior Red Cross Circles of Schools. The main objective of the program was to improve the sexual and reproductive health of adolescents by increasing their access to information and services related to reproductive health. This study was to assess the impact of interventions in terms of change on the adolescents in knowledge, attitude and
behaviours pertaining to sexual and reproductive health. It examined the effects and efficiency of community mobilization, community advocacy efforts, and the effectiveness of health service providers training.
