Title : A Situation Analysis on Disability in Nepal

Abstract : The overall objective of this study is to develop a comprehensive definition of all kinds of disabilities as well as derive a nation-wide data and information about the situation of persons with disabilities in Nepal. The study will assess the magnitude of various types of disabilities by sex and age group. It will explore the living and working conditions of persons with disabilities such as social and economic participation, access to education, health care and public attitude towards persons with disabilities. The study will also review the existing legislation concerning persons with disabilities in Nepal
