Title: Mid Term Evaluation of the Health for Life Core Activity - Final Report

Abstract: Health for Life (H4L) Project was initiated with the goal to improvement the Government of Nepalís stewardship to plan, manage and deliver quality and equitable maternal, newborn and child health and nutrition and family planning (MNCHN/FP) services. To strengthen the health system, the project was to improve governance district and national level; develop evidence based health policies; institutionalize a quality improvement system; improve the capacity of health workers and community volunteers; improve knowledge, behavior and use of services by targeted marginalized and disadvantaged groups integrating the gender equality and social inclusion policy. This study was to assess the effectiveness of the program. The study assesses facility readiness, observed district review meeting and service delivery in selected health facilities for the patients and community satisfaction of services.
