Title: A Follow-up Study of the Graduates of Jiri Technical School

Abstract: SDC established JTS in 1982 with the object of meeting the requirements for middle level technical manpower in the field of agriculture, construction and health. Between 1987 and 1989, the school trained 107 graduates. The main objectives of the study were to examine the socio-economic characteristics of the JTS training program; assess how the job requirements matched with the curriculum of JTS; and, finally, to make recommendations on the basis of the study’s findings.
