The case study on Nepal was to represent montane forest with focus on local management of forest and watershed in the country’s montane areas. The main objective of the study is to identify organizations that use spatial data on forest and watershed management, and their spatial data requirements for sustainable forest management. The study also assesses available facilities, trained manpower, organizational interaction by levels and across sectors.
