Services and Support for the Nepal Logistics and Child Health Support
Service Project.
Abstract: The main purpose of the project, under implementation since
July 1998, is to provide technical support to the Logistic Management
Division (LMD) and Planning and Foreign Aid Division of the Department
of Health Services of the Ministry of Health. Since July 1998, New ERA
has been providing following major services: (a) assist Logistic
Management Information System (LMIS)/Unit of LMD on national level
integrated LMIS data management, data analysis and use,
supervision/monitoring and to provide feedback reports at all level of
concerned managers and collaborating agencies; and (b) assist Management
Information System (MIS) Section of PFAD to establish fully computerized
data base system, data management analysis and use, modification of
recording/reporting tools and supervision, monitoring and to provide
feedback to all the concerned managers.
