Title: Nepal Fertility, Family Planning and Health Survey.

Abstract: The study provides the policy makers, planners and program managers with data on current levels and trends on contraceptive knowledge and use, fertility and child infant mortality, and basic indicators of maternal and child health. The findings reveal that breast feeding is universal in Nepal. Fertility rate has declined over the last decade. About 93% of currently married women knew at least one method of family planning, and 82% of birth occurred during the last five years received no pre-natal care.
