Abstract: The
objective of the study is to prepare a country report to review the
resettlement policy and practices in Nepal. The study identified three ADB-financed
projects — Kali Gandaki “A” Hydroelectric Project, Third Road Improvement,
and Kathmandu Urban Improvement Project— to assess the nature and
effectiveness of resettlement.
