Nepal National Micro-nutrition Survey 2017
Abstract: The overall objective of
this survey was to assess the micronutrient status among the
representative populations in Nepal including children 6-59 months and
6-9 years, adolescent girls 10-14 years, adolescent boys 10-19 years,
reproductive age women 15-49 years. The study micronutrient statuses
assessed among these populations were vitamin A and B12, iron, folic
acid, iodine, zinc and condition of anemia. The survey also collected
information on anthropometry, infectious diseases (malaria, STH, H.
pylori, visceral leishmaniasis), blood disorders, and markers of
inflammation among these populations.
