on Child Labor in Carpet Industry in Nepal
Abstract: The objective of this study is
to design and implement four primary quantitative research activities in
Nepal: (i) an Incidence, Prevalence and Conditions (IPC) study focused
on children and families, (ii) Labor Demand (LD) study focused on
factory managers to understand carpet industry dynamics, (iii) Sending
Areas (SA) study to understand migration and trafficking (iv) Best
Practices (BP) study that combines desk and field review of programs as
well as a pilot project for a quantitative assessment of a time-bound
program.
