Title: Immunization Coverage Study in Nepal 

Abstract: This project will provide more precise, statistically sound immunization coverage estimates for each of 13 ecological-zone/region combinations, as well as Nepal nationally.  It will be based on a stratified multi-stage cluster sample with selection of households through systematic random sampling at the final stage.  All areas of the country will be included in the sampling frame, to ensure that results will be representative of the country as a whole.  Immunization status will be based on household-retained immunization cards and parental recall, supplemented by health facility register data for survey children.
