Title: Micronutrient Supplementation for Children in Food Insecure Districts

Abstract: This baseline study is being undertaken with the objective of documenting the situation of malnutrition and underlying factors particularly an levels among children aged 6 to 59 monts in the project intervention districts

This study assesses prevalence of anemia and the nutritional status among the target group (anthropometric measurement of height and weight of children six to 59 months old). Similarly, the study examines the knowledge of mothers about micronutrients and infant and young child feeding practices besides assessing household food security (food consumption score and coping index).
