Nepal – Report on the Impact of UN Agencies Collaboration in UN Model Village (Gangkhet VDC) of Dadeldhura District

2003

UNDP, UNICEF, WFP and UNESCO collaborated to implement various programs in Gangkhet VDC of Dadeldhura District in relation to health, education, micro enterprise, social mobilization, agriculture and basic infrastructure development. In 1999/2000, the Dadeldhura District Development Committee declared Gangkhet VDC a “UN Model VDC”. This study assesses the overall impact of different development activities collaboratively conducted by the UN agencies in the VDC.
