<table><tbody><tr><td colspan="1" rowspan="1"><p>Nepal Demographic Health Survey (NDHS) was implemented by New ERA under the aegis of Ministry of Health and Population of Nepal with financial support of USAID and technical assistance from ICF Macro Inc. The sixth round of NDHS covered a sample of 14,000 households, 16,291 women and 5,273 men of reproductive age selected from 77 districts. Stratification was achieved by dividing each of the seven provinces into urban and rural areas that together formed the sampling stratum for that province.<br>Data was collected by a team of 150 field staff comprising of core team members, quality controllers and enumerators, through CAPI technology. New ERA team played a key role in finalizing survey tools, recruitment and training the field survey team, and ensuring the maintenance of gold standard quality for anthropometry, hemoglobin testing, and high blood pressure measurements. New ERA conducted training of trainers and training of enumerators, carried out detailed mapping of 476 sample clusters, and listing of households. Data quality control was maintained throughout data collection through in-person and remote monitoring and intensive data checking. New ERA team also assisted in preparation of presentation slides (visualizations) and assisted in disseminating them at both national and provincial levels. New ERA organized provincial dissemination workshops in all seven provinces of Nepal in close coordination with the government. New ERA assisted ICF in organizing NDHS Data Use and Data Analysis workshops and managed the logistical arrangements. The workshop was organized to enhance data analysis skills of the representatives from Ministry of Health and Population, health partners, and university faculties. New ERA staff also co-facilitated the data analysis sessions.&nbsp;</p></td></tr></tbody></table>
