New ERA, established in 1971, is a not-for-profit research organization based in Kathmandu. We are currently in search of qualified Nepali candidates to fill the following positions.

1. Position: Field Coordinator

Required number: 1

Eligibility Criteria:

• Should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in public health, nursing, health education, and other health-related subjects.
• Should have very good command in English
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills (good rapport-building).
• Should be physically fit and willing to travel in Madhesh province.
• Only Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Priority will be given to those who have previous data collection experiences in health-related surveys.
• Person who have been fully vaccinated against CoVID-19 will be given the priority.

2. Position: Supervisor/Enumerator

Eligibility Criteria:

• Enumerators and Supervisors should have a minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Enumerators and Supervisors should have good command in the Maithili language
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and communication skills (good rapport-building)
• Candidates should be physically fit and willing to travel in Madhesh province.
• Only Female candidates are encouraged to apply.
• Priority will be given to those who have previous data collection experiences in health-related surveys.
• Person who have been fully vaccinated against CoVID-19 will be given the priority.

Duration: 13 Days

Eligibility Criteria:

• Enumerators should have minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
• Supervisors should have minimum bachelor’s degree in education with good knowledge of pedagogy (specialization in Nepali and Math preferred).
• Priority will be given to those who have previous data collection experiences in EGRA/EGMA assessment surveys.
• Excellent verbal, interpersonal and communication skills (good rapport building with schools authorities)
• Candidates should be physically fit and willing to travel in remote areas.
• Female candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Person who have been fully vaccinated against CoVID-19 will be given the priority.

Eligibility criteria:

Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (BMLT/CMLT) or lab assistant.
Minimum of one year of experience in urine sample processing using a centrifuge.
Previous experience working in the field is preferred.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Duration: 2.5-3 months
