New ERA, established in 1971, is a not-for-profit research organization based in Kathmandu. We are currently in search of qualified Nepali candidates to fill the following positions.

  1. Position: Quality Controllers

Required number: 2

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, sociology, demography, or any other relevant discipline. Masters’ degree preferred.
  • More than five years of experience in conducting field-based surveys.
  • Experience as Quality Controllers will be an added advantage.

 

  1. Position: Supervisor/Enumerator

Required number: 20

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Bachelor’s degree in public health, sociology, demography, or any other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in conducting field-based surveys.

 

  1. Position: Health Assistant (HA)

Required number: 10

Eligibility Criteria:

  • HA with Pre and Post test counseling training received on HIV.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in conducting field-based surveys.

 

  1. Position: Laboratory assistant

Required number: 10

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Certified Medical Laboratory Technician (CMLT) or lab assistant.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in biometric collection, such as blood sample collection.

Basic Eligibility Criteria for all Positions:

  • Familiarity with Nepal’s health system.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in using tablets for data collection.
  • Should be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

Working location: 35 districts of Nepal

Duration: 1.5-2 months
