This study reviews the current situation of people with disabilities in Nepal. The study also looks at the laws and regulations in place in relation to people with disabilities. The study classifies disabilities into five types: hearing, visual, physical, mental and learning.

A Situation Analysis on Disability in Nepal
This study was to develop a comprehensive definition of all kinds of disabilities as well as to gather nation-wide data and information about the situation of people with disabilities in Nepal. The study explores the number of people with various types of disabilities according to their sex and age. It also assesses the living and working conditions including their level of social and economic participation; access to education; health care; and the attitude of the public towards people with disabilities.
