This study provides information to support the formulation of a comprehensive model for STI/HIV/AIDS prevention with the aim of reducing HIV/AIDS transmission, vulnerability and impact in Nepal. The study assesses the sexual behavior of FSWs and their male clients; explores pathways/motivational factors for engaging in sex work; and looks at possible alternative livelihood options.
