Barriers and Enabling Factors Influencing the Use of a Skilled Birth Attendant among Marginalized Populations in the Mid-western Region of Nepal

This study was to identify the barriers that limit the use of skilled health providers among marginalized population in the mid-western region of Nepal. The study assesses the factors that enable households from marginalized communities to overcome and positive and negative consequences of the decision to use a skilled birth attendant (SBA) at childbirth and reasons which deter households from taking the services of a SBA.
