A Baseline Survey for Decentralized Planning for the Child Program in Selected Six Districts

Decentralized Planning for the Child Program was initiated UNICEF in collaboration with government of Nepal and UNDP in additional six districts: Udayapur, Nawalparasi, Tanahun, Kapilbastu, Achham and Humla. This study was to collect baseline information on some basic indicators especially on drinking water and sanitation, education, health and nutrition of the districts.  The study has also contributed to the process of building district level capacity in data collection, supervision, and data analysis by involving some of the concerned stakeholders from the districts in different phases of the study.
