Evaluation of Reproductive Health of Married Adolescent Couples Project (RHMACP) in Dhanusha and Parsa Districts, Nepal

Reproductive Health of Married Adolescent Couples (RHMAC) – A pilot project was implemented EngenderHealth, in partnership with CARE Nepal, in Parsa and Dhanusha districts of Nepal from June 2005 to June 2007. The objectives of the project was to increase Married Adolescent (MA) couples’ knowledge about Reproductive Health issues (RH) and Create a supportive environment within service delivery sites to enable MA couples to access services. This study was to assess the changes that the project interventions have brought about regarding MA’s knowledge and access to RH information and services; to draw lessons learned from the program; and to identify interventions that can be scaled-up.
