Evaluation on “Role of Men in Reproductive Health Program (MAP)” in Bara and Nawalparasi Districts

Men as Partners (MAP) Program was implemented jointly Family Health Division and Nepal Family Health Program (NFHP) in Bara and Nawalparasi districts of Nepal with aim to improve the quality of men’s Reproductive Health (RH) services offered at the primary health care centre, health post and sub-health post in the program areas. This study was to measure changes in knowledge, attitudes and practices (KAP) related to the reproductive health of men and women in the program areas. The study assesses program effectiveness, behaviour related to safe motherhood, STIs, and HIV/AIDS among married women and their husband; utilization of RH services.
