Integrated Bio_Behavioral Survey (IBBS) among Male Injecting Drug Users (IDUs) in Western to Far Western Terai, Round I

This is the first round of the IBSS survey among male IDUs in Western to Far Western Terai of Nepal. The study was designed to estimate the prevalence of HIV among IDUs in the study areas. The study assesses the prevalence of HIV, drug injecting and sexual behavior, frequency of and the association between HIV infection and because of their practice;  proportion of IDUs sub-population that transmits HIV infection, sexual behaviors among tartget sub-population in the municipalities and highway areas of Rupandehi, Banke, Kailali and Kanchanpur districts.
