Participatory Research and Gender Analysis Impact Assessment

2001

The Participatory Research and Gender Analysis Impact Assessment is a comparative assessment of traditional research and Participatory Action Research (PAR) undertaken by Adaptive and Collaborative Management (ACM) research in community forestry in Nepal. This study assesses the impact of PAR, including its cost and benefit to the local people. The study looks at the relative impact of PAR and an explicit Gender Analysis approach compared to a traditional/less participatory and less gender oriented research approach.
