Revision of Indicators, Tools and Reporting Progress for Health Management Information System (HMIS) and Health Service Information System (HSIS)

This study was conducted New ERA under the aegis of HMIS Section/Management Division of Department of Health Services, Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP). The project was designed to review and revision the indicators, recording and reporting tools and produced User’s Manual of HMIS ensuring that the current requirements of all divisions, centers and various health service programs under the Department of Health Services, MoHP have been adequately reflected. The significance of this revision exercise lies upon identifying relevant national program’s monitoring needs, current data gaps in HMIS and subsequent revision and emendation of the existing recording and reporting tools of two health information Systems _ HMIS and HSIS, in an attempt to develop a single integrated health information system.
